Top 10

Top 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Cut Your Own Hair

  1. A pair of plastic crayola scissors just don't make an even cut
  2. It will make your mommy sad/mad
  3. When it's only a 1/8" - 1/4" it cannot get braided in
  4. Someone is guaranteed to notice your untold secret
  5. It leaves a strange patch of fluffiness in the front/center of your forehead
  6. It defeats the purpose of trying to grow your hair out
  7. Your mommy won't trust you with scissors at school anymore
  8. It makes for memorable family Christmas pictures.
  9. You should regret it (even though you don't)
  10. Your mommy will not be able to help herself from noticing it and mentioning how it was a bad choice over and over and over... even though it doesn't bother you in the slightest.

LOL
My niece did that before- and her hair does NOT grow fast at all. It was shoulder length and they had to cut it pixie style. Aww the memories...

Ask DH if he remembers doing that, he had a buzz cut for weeks!
Tell Miss F that she is beautiful, no matter what her hair looks like.

I would commiserate with you, but she looks so pleased with herself in that picture! Did she say why she did it? What did Sherm think?

Gigi,
Spoken like a true Grandma!

Dawne,
She told me that her hair "fell out" and then I took her to Sherm and we were very "worried" about her being sick. Her story changed once drs were involved... She said that she cut it because it was "tangle-y." I think she cut it cause she was bored. What a goofball.

I can't tell, but then I can't hardly see either. *chuckle* If you want to grow her hair out, take her to a GOOD salon and have them braid it for you. I go to one in seattle and there's an African sistah that braids hair.

The Princess did that once and I was so unhappy because the Prince jumped in on the foolishness. :) At least it is now out of her system and banning them from scissors for awhile seemed to do the trick.

LOL- How cute!! I never cut my hair as a kid, but Barbie was scared of me, cause I can do a mean hair cut on her!! ALL THE TIME!

I think I was banned from owning Barbies for awhile after that!
