..hospital times..

Where have I been? The hospital baby! GOOD TIMES! Miss Brasil is referring to it as a vacation. My question is, who doesn't want to sleep in a chair (see it?) in ugly Tacoma!?!So, here's the quick update before I ditch my five with me brova and head on back to the hospital. Went in to the ER on Saturday night (at children's hospital #2) and they legally had to let us in the door. The large infection under his arm (internal) was heading down his outer arm and I was tired of all the red tape.

Highlights of our stay:
-Yes he has epilepsy
-The bumps AREN'T tumors!! They're staff infections and totally treatable!
-So far has had one surgery and we're hoping that's the final one..

...more later....

Sort of a good news/bad news result, but the good news is that even the bad news (epilepsy) is soo treatable and it sounds like he has a mild form of it at that. Staph infections are better than tumors, but I'm glad that you hauled him off to the ER and they got to treating it before it went travelling all over to heck and back.
Hugs for Mister P from his fans far and wide...we love him, and his sibs, and his folks the most!

I'm so glad he's been treated! You let him eat all the ice cream he wants while he's in there!

I am so glad that you are finally getting some answers. Olivia has infrequent seizures b/c of her CP..it can be very scary.
Your son has such a beautiful smile

I am hoping that by "THEY HAD TO LET HIM IN" that also means that they didn't ask for some ridiculous form of Identification. (Hee Hee...sorry I couldn't help it.)

I am glad to hear that EVERYTHING is treatable. And yes, epilepsy has amazing medications now...so he will be able to drive someday and live a normal "american kid" life here. Because really all you want, any of us wants is for our kids to be "normal"

Love and prayers for you all.

I'm praying for Big P. You're a great mama. The Lord knew big P needed someone who would fight for him.
